Man of taste (2025)
Director, Animator & Editor | UAL MA Graduate Short Film
A fast-paced, character-driven comedy short about the culinary hill one man is willing to die on.
Managing the entire production pipeline solo, I executed the advanced 2D character design, rigging, and animation using Toon Boom Harmony, with VFX in After Effects. The offline/online edit was crafted in Premiere Pro, focusing heavily on comedic timing, pacing, and sound design to elevate the visual gags.

The story
Man of Taste follows Johnny, a rigid Staten Island restaurateur and perfectionist who deeply resents the Americanisation of fast food. Narrated by his teenage son Mikey, who is obsessed with online food trends, the story kicks into gear when the duo sets sail for a funeral in Italy.
When they get lost at sea, their plans go completely off course, Forced to survive on a diet of Fish & Chips, Guinness, and other local delicacies , Johnny's culinary snobbery is put to the ultimate test.
